Mike Tyson and Jake Paul immediately SUSPENDED after Netflix fight
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have both been suspended.
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have both been suspended following their heavyweight showdown.
Tyson‘s ring return against Paul headlined the Netflix card from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Friday.
But the returning boxing legend succumbed to the YouTuber-turned-boxer in what was his first pro bout since 2005.
Paul dominated a slow and stagnant Tyson, scoring a unanimous decision victory to improve his record to 11-1.
Per the regulations of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations via The Mirror, both Tyson and Paul have been suspended in wake of their pro fight.
The regulations state each fighter will be told to rest for three days for every round fought.

Tyson and Paul have avoided a lengthy medical suspension after both fighters went the distance.
They have the power to appeal their suspension, with the regulations stating: “Medical disqualification of a contestant is for their own safety and may be made at the recommendation of the examining physician or TDLR. A contestant who disagrees with a medical disqualification, medical suspension or rest period set at the discretion of a ringside physician or a disqualification or suspension set by the department may request a hearing to show proof of fitness.”
